At a gate Elijah apologizes and begs Ms. Sewell to come back, saying, "I'll forget all about the divorce" if she returns. She refuses—asks what he'd offer, insists they're over and threatens court if he won't sign the agreement. Later, Simon comforts Ms. Sewell after she admits she panicked when her son Ryan fell; Ryan asks if his mother doesn't want them, and Simon promises she won't leave. Standing opposite, a person holding a cake calls "Ms. Sewell!" but a sudden shout, "Watch out!", cuts the moment off, leaving immediate danger unresolved.
