A boy named Arthur is being confronted in the principal's office over a fight where he reportedly beat up eight attackers. The principal, siding with the affluent boys led by Derek and backed by a powerful hotel owner, Mr. Moore, mocks Arthur's mother's humble job and insists Arthur provoked the fight. As the bullying escalates with insults about his family, Arthur defiantly reveals his father is coming instead. When the boys mock him for being fatherless, a man enters, introducing himself as Arthur's father, Richard Arcadia—the head of the city's biggest mafia family. The power dynamic instantly reverses, leaving the school officials and bullies terrified as Mr. Arcadia questions their version of events.
