A man threatens to disconnect a hospitalized woman’s life support, claiming she owes his boss money. A young woman named Mia intervenes, pleading that Arthur will return with the money. Ignoring her, the thug decides to pull the plug himself. Just as he moves to do so, Arthur arrives and stops him with force. After the confrontation, the hospital staff informs Arthur that his mother's medical bills are severely overdue, or her medication will be cut off, leaving him under immediate financial pressure.
