At a tense confrontation, Mr. Arcadia orders his men outside and confronts a man named Harris about a police matter. He then commands Harris to come home with him. Harris defiantly refuses, declaring that while they share blood, they are not family. Unmoved, Arcadia states his order wasn't a request and that a car will be waiting. Left alone, Harris bitterly reflects on being ignored for eighteen years, suspecting his father now wants him as a pawn, and vows to turn the tables.
