At a boisterous table Nora is urged to drink and 'forget the past,' but she keeps repeating 'I remember' as Stella confronts her. She accuses Colin of having her grandmother force a marriage; people call Colin her enemy while Mdm. Mort lists 33 stab wounds and 99 bowls of Mort Potion and calls Nora's fixation an obsession. Mdm. Mort offers a deal: five days to make Colin say 'I love you'; succeed and she'll plead with Hades to let Nora live again, fail and Nora must let go. Nora accepts, back and facing the five-day ultimatum.
