Nora storms into Colin and Stella’s room demanding he tell her he loves her, insisting she has only five days. Stella suddenly smells blood and grows nauseous as others accuse Nora of causing trouble. Colin rejects Nora’s demands, declares he loves Stella, and insists Stella can stay in the house, humiliating Nora. Later a caller threatens, "Nora must die," and asks why she’s still alive. Confronted with that call, Nora accuses Stella: "You hired someone to kill me?" The accusation hangs unresolved, leaving Nora’s safety uncertain and the threat unanswered.
