Former classmates and those who confronted her crumble, begging forgiveness after a preschool victim accuses her of assaulting his mother and himself. Mr. Moore, addressed as 'Dad,' reacts angrily, orders the offenders seized, their right arms broken, and a Valia-wide blacklist. As the accused are hauled away, Nora apologizes for ruining the event and says she only meant to surprise him but failed. Mr. Moore asks, "You wanted to surprise me?" leaving Nora's intent and the punishments unresolved.
