At a corporate banquet, guests mock Nora Carson when they realize she is Mrs. Moore. Mr. Moore stops them, publicly declares 'You're my wife,' and threatens anyone who offended her with expulsion and a company blacklist. Security hauls the offenders out while one guest pleads that their father will punish them. After the expulsions, Mr. Moore orders Nora to change and announces a surprise; staff present a custom-made dress.
