When the group finally gets food, Hannah Scott breathes relief but is told to keep obeying. Finn and Hannah are put on a two-hour night watch; Finn is ordered to shoot anything that approaches, "human or not." Hannah panics when something breaches their space and nonhuman footsteps reveal a new variant. The key turn: Hugh admits he lured every zombie in the building to their door and taunts, "You and your women can starve to death!" Hannah accuses him of sacrificing everyone. The episode ends with them trapped at the door as undead gather and Hugh's betrayal unresolved.
