May the Next Life Know No Sorrow - Episódio 2

A terrified child calls, crying "Mom, save me!" After Ms. Jones reports a possible gas leak, confusion explodes between Mom and Rita over who has Coco. Rita, who has been helping care for the child, accuses Mom of mistrust; Mom insists she's home doing homework with Coco. Coco's own calls say she feels unwell and asks if Mom is playing mahjong; Mom denies it. Accusations and mixed locations escalate into shouting, then a terse decision: Mom says she'll check on Coco. The episode ends with Coco's condition and her true whereabouts unresolved.
