Rita bursts into the office frantic: her daughter Coco is missing and Rita's mother, who traveled from the village to babysit, has taken Coco to a mahjong table instead of staying home. Coworkers urge Rita to call her mother; Rita refuses to trust her because the grandmother is obsessed with mahjong and once nearly burned the kitchen. Leo, who took time off to pick up the returning woman, is asked to call but says he has a meeting and must go. Coco remains at the mahjong game, leaving Rita to decide how to get her child back.
