At a chaotic hospital, staff and a woman named Lillian are pressured to refund Yancy Sullivan's hospitalization fee after she's been blacklisted; a creditor demands discharge despite Yancy being in critical condition. Mr. Hodgins from Salarito arrives, recognized by onlookers, and reveals Yancy saved him 15 years ago — he has tracked her down and promises world‑class doctors to treat her. Meanwhile Yancy's visiting mother is warned to “cooperate” to keep her daughter Sarah safe.
