Ruler of the Ancient Seas - Episode 3

The episode opens as the mermaid Kaelen, who has been reborn like Serena, feigns delight that she became Sea Queen. He then pressures the High Priest to arrange a marriage between himself and Serena to produce golden eggs. When Serena objects, Kaelen swears a royal blood oath, publicly accusing Serena's lineage as tainted and claiming she will bear a cursed black egg, while asserting that another mermaid, Lina, will produce the golden eggs. The High Priest, bound by the oath, approves the shocking change. Kaelen and Lina's engagement is set for a ceremony in three days, leaving Serena's queenship and future in immediate peril.
