Ruler of the Ancient Seas - Episode 5

A mermaid woman faces an urgent three-day deadline before her Tidal Heat period arrives. Without a consort, she will die; failure to produce a golden egg will mean her scales are publicly stripped and she becomes sacrificial 'bloodfeed' for her rival Lina's egg. Her sister mocks her, declaring everyone expects a black egg, so no one will take her. Defiant, the woman insists she will succeed and reveals a daring plan: she intends to venture to the Eternal Night Abyss to seek out an ancient black mermaid as her consort.
