Mr. Hawk insists the lost bet gives him the jade pendant, and Zozo’s family scrambles to avoid public humiliation. Buying it back or accepting punishment is dismissed, so Zozo’s grandfather proposes an archery contest to win the pendant back from Winston. Her father warns the powerful bow could injure her and that failing would embarrass the family. Despite taunts, Zozo volunteers and publicly challenges Mr. Yasmine: "Are you interested in competing with me?" The episode ends with the crowd waiting for his answer and the contest about to begin.
