At the shareholders' meeting staff discover Trevor Stout's wheelchair is missing, leaving him unable to reach the meeting and triggering a crisis over company leadership. Executives and family members argue; several insist Edward should replace Trevor. Edward accepts a temporary takeover and vows to step down once Trevor's health improves. The board sets a hard 10:00 a.m. deadline to begin an election if Trevor doesn't appear. Supporters taunt Trevor—one even claims they've removed every wheelchair nearby, forcing him to crawl if he wants to come. As the clock runs out, someone suddenly announces that he's here.
