The Beast That Eats the World - Episode 2

A voice calls Jody and Wendy as a wounded person shouts, "I won't die like this!" Someone forces a victim to drink the kirin master's blood, urging, "Drink your fill — see you on the road to the afterlife." The victim struggles, shouting, "Let go! You're sucking my life!" An ancient bloodpact is invoked. The drained person's blood hasn't dried and their bones begin mending, turning a fatal scene into something uncertain. After "What are you?" two people exchange, "You want to fight back up?" "Yeah." "So do I." They brace to fight, outcome unresolved.
