When a strange man delivers a cash payment, the neighborhood learns Noel, a pup, is missing. Alpha Eric fails to track him and others catch Noel's scent, sparking accusations that someone abandoned the pup. A resident claims Noel suddenly grew fangs and calls him a monster, then reveals plans to sell Noel to a research institute after a professor offered a huge sum. Noel's mother rushes in, threatens anyone who touches him and shouts, "I'll save you!" The episode ends with the abductor arranging the transfer and Noel's rescue left unresolved.
