Accusers swarm when Noel is branded a 'monster' and several people demand experiments. His mother, Sylvia, shields him—stating "Noel is my son"—while Noel panics, pleading that he's not a monster and begging them not to experiment. Alpha Eric and his pack question Sylvia's story because no dog noises were heard at her home and suspect she hid a pup. Eric orders a search and is told, "Ms. Snow is at the research institute." The pack heads there, and scientists declare, "He's the perfect subject!" The episode ends as staff move to take Noel to the lab.
