The Last Promise II - Episode 2

A man demands payment from an old man who has no money, telling him to send his daughter-in-law Maria to beg for the release of his impounded truck. When the old man resists, the man forces him to eat spoiled vegetables. A bystander intervenes, calling the behavior excessive, but the man dares anyone present to pay the fine instead. Defeated, the old man laments that while his daughter-in-law struggles alone, his attempt to help has only made things worse, leaving him with no truck and no produce.
