Maria arrives at the hospital and is surprised to find Jack, Danny, and Gunner there. They explain that Sam's father is in the ER after a confrontation with Derek Malone at the farmers' market. Derek fined the old man and had his truck towed, which caused him to collapse. The doctor demands a $50,000 deposit for the ICU, which Maria cannot afford. Danny immediately hands her a card to cover the cost. Gunner, furious, vows to find Derek and force him to apologize.
