The Pearl in the Executive Suite - Episode 4

Chloe is pushed by Mr. Zuller to take a once-in-a-lifetime chance to be noticed by Ethan. At the meeting the receptionist announces Ms. Fawn, and Chloe presents a research paper on T-cell cancer therapy to Mr. Toll. She explains extracting a patient’s T cells and genetically modifying them to recognize and kill cancer cells. Mr. Toll praises her voice and asks, "Have we met somewhere before?" His recognition halts the presentation; staff say he startled her, and the episode ends with that question leaving Chloe’s opportunity—and whether Ethan will notice her—unresolved.
