The Pearl in the Executive Suite - ตอนที่ 9

During a shared lunch, a junior assistant confesses to Mr. Toll that she is pregnant and plans to take a year off after the semester. Mr. Toll, who questions the father's identity and echoes Mr. Zuller's concern about her finances, ultimately says he won't replace her or expose the pregnancy if her work stays solid. She promises to return part-time after three months. The scene sharpens when Dr. Leigh asks her to fetch samples from storage; Mr. Toll tells her to meet him at the lab, leaving her secret and his worries unresolved as they head there.
