At school a student discovers her missing diamond bracelet and Yara publicly accuses Chloe, then students find the bracelet in Chloe’s bag. Chloe insists she didn't steal it but is humiliated and forced to apologize. Professor Zeller pulls her into his office, pressures and blackmails her—offering money if she stays with him and threatening to claim she stole, tried to seduce him, and bribed a professor. Before Chloe can clear her name, Mr. Foster announces her immediate expulsion. Expelled and shamed, Chloe whispers, "I haven't forgotten," leaving her fate unresolved.
