When classmates and staff force Chloe to apologize for an incident Vivian reported, they shame her for her village background and even call her boyfriend to demand she admit fault. Chloe refuses and tries to leave as Mr. Lloyd and others insist she come with them. The pressure breaks when the workplace announces the station has been sold and the new owner arrives. Staff swarm the newcomer, gawking at his looks, and attention shifts away from Chloe. As everyone flusters to meet the boss, one voice cuts through: "Where's Chloe?"
