Upgrade My Mecha Maiden - Episode 4

After a successful mod, Kevin and Ember arrive at the Mecha Competition to win Energy Credits but are denied a high-rank slot: their Mecha Maiden isn't A-rank registered and audition slots are full. Karter Mercer appears to gloat while Jason Smith, a notorious tough guy, proposes a wager—fight him for his quarterfinal spot; lose and surrender your Mecha Maiden. Kevin, aware his Combat Aptitude is low and worried about hurting Ember, nevertheless accepts the challenge. The episode ends with the high-stakes duel set, their competition entry and the Mecha Maiden hanging in the balance.
