Wings Clipped, Yet She Soared - Episódio 1

Admission letters arrive and Cilla and her brother Quincy celebrate: she is accepted to Norwell University, he to Mechatronics College. Their parents immediately reject Cilla's chance, insisting Quincy should go to university. When they reveal they can't afford Norwell's $20,000 tuition, they propose marrying Cilla off and using wedding gifts to fund Quincy's schooling—citing Tom's search for a wife. Cilla objects angrily: "I'm not getting married!" Her parents answer, "It's not up to you," leaving her Norwell place and personal freedom hanging on their decision.
