Wings Clipped, Yet She Soared - Episodio 5

Paige faces a family crisis when her sister Cilla, who earned a Norwell acceptance, is threatened with being married off to pay for their brother’s vocational college. Cilla urges Paige not to give up the offer; Paige has been working to fund Cilla’s tuition and pleads with her employer, Mr. Peterson, to let her return to work. Mr. Peterson at first refuses but then gives Paige $20,000 from uncollected project funds for the tuition. The episode ends with the money in hand but the family’s plan still looming, the outcome unresolved.
