A Match Fate Got Right - Episode 8

Relatives burst into the Clare home and accuse Alice of being the mistress Dad married, then insist she has no claim after her grandmother's death. They try to drag her away and tell staff to lie if anyone asks about Alice. Alice resists, shouting that she promised Ian she'd wait. Elsewhere Ian hears a voice, rushes to the address and canvasses neighbors, but every house denies knowing an Alice Clare. The episode ends with Alice removed from the household and Ian facing unanimous denials, her whereabouts remain unknown.
