A Mother's Unbroken Tomorrow - Episode 7

Two women who just secured a house and money bring an abandoned baby home and argue about disposing of her. One recounts that her mother left the infant on a rock three miles from a river after a planned drowning failed, and that Liz found the child. They decide to use heat to let the baby die, hoping to unhinge Liz and extort money, while another plans a cover story: say they were too busy with work and 'forgot' the baby. The infant begins choking in the heat, crying, 'Mommy, help me,' as someone shouts for Ann, leaving salvation uncertain.
