Back to You, Back to Love - Episode 2

Ms. Shaw is publicly expelled from a carriage on a bitterly cold road, left humiliated and asking, 'What did I do wrong?' She recalls her family died for the nation and that Prince Alex, Prince Jason's uncle, was once kind to her. Alex has lain comatose since returning from Xosa, but she remembers he might wake in three years, so she resolves to control her fate by marrying him. At court she petitions the monarch; the king accepts and orders the palace to arrange the marriage. The episode ends with her leaving while Alex remains unconscious and the union unsettled.
