Ms. Smith and an ally argue it's risky for just the two of them to go in, but she insists she's more dangerous than their opponents. In public she confronts Evan, accusing him of assaulting and murdering a Santrian woman overseas; Evan boasts cruelly about Santrian women. Liam is called out for protecting Evan; he admits he took the money and must do the job. Felix is given one minute to make Liam and Evan kneel. They refuse, the speaker screams "Kill them!" and attackers move in as the countdown ends, leaving the outcome unresolved.
