After Xavier strikes someone, Zoey and Sarah clash over how to handle him. Sarah urges distance while Zoey—who already took the case—presses on. They phone every firm in Havenport to block his defense, and lawyers repeatedly refuse Xavier despite his visits to 800 firms. Zoey files asset-preservation papers, freezing his marital accounts so he can't withdraw money. Cornered, Xavier demands his share at a bank, is restrained by security and publicly taunted about Lydia's murder and a protected killer. The episode ends with him humiliated and asked, "Do you admit you were wrong?", options gone.
