In a hospital lobby, Xavier, an injured man who may lose an arm, is blocked from emergency care until he signs a settlement. Zoey Gold has the private facility reserved—her allies and husband even use a pet as an excuse—so staff and Xavier are forced to wait. Xavier pleads he already apologized publicly and needs treatment. Sarah and others pressure him to sign to preserve future alliances. After Zoey accuses him of an old injury, she abruptly relents: "Fine. I'll help you." Treatment access opens, but whether he signs and at what cost remains unresolved.
