He orders all Clarke Group branches near the border blocked, the Phoenix Serum strictly monitored, and arranges a trip to investigate personally. Back home, someone Martha once humiliated confronts her and snarls, "I'll make you pay." Mr. Hampton's departure and that threat leave Martha's fate and the Serum's security unresolved.
