Burning Ice, Hidden Fire - Episode 9

While doing laundry, a young woman with unusually soft hands is cornered by other villagers who leer, touch her and hurl insults. The crowd escalates into threats, someone threatens to tell Panther and a scuffle nearly breaks out. A newly arrived man is noticed for his strength and skill; when asked, he says he’s a carpenter and one person urges the woman to stay inside so he can keep her safe. She briefly wonders if he might be the cousin waiting at home, but the bullies force her back to work, shouting, 'No way this bastard is my cousin!'
