Fields, Ponds, and a Fortune of My Own 80s - Episode 4

Donald runs out of rice and money and goes to the river to catch fish, but his net breaks. He meets Tig, a friend who moved back to the village after splitting with his brother. Tig pulls a bucket of unfamiliar creatures—crayfish—and sees a chance to make money selling them. Tig brings rice to Donald's home and feeds Sharon. After eating she suddenly cries out and they discover blisters on her skin. The episode ends with the household alarmed by the unexplained blisters, casting doubt on the safety of the food and the crayfish.
