Rachel is confronted and accused of calling Sharon out and abandoning her years ago; family, including Joseph's mother, berate Rachel as a murderer while a doctor says minutes' delay might've saved Sharon. The crowd grows hostile—'Don't touch me,' insults and threats fly—while Joseph is repeatedly urged to 'come to your senses.' Rachel spits, 'If I die, will you feel sad?
