The Boy Who Lit My Darkness - Episode 1

Lara collapses after her 99th IVF attempt triggers heart failure; doctors scramble and warn she has at best one month to live. At her bedside she learns Quentin (Mr. Slater) has been absent for days and hospital staff suggest he's with a mistress. Feeling betrayed, Lara orders everyone out, decides to leave him for good, and books a private clinic on Ockson Isle, leaving in three days. The episode closes with Lara determined to force a reckoning: "Quentin, will you weep for me then when you finally learn the truth?"
