The Daughter Who Shouldn't Exist - Episodio 9

During a formal ritual sequence—"Bow to Heaven and Earth," "Bow to the parents," and "Bow to each other"—a small celebration plays out as a man compliments Qiana and people joke about eating. The officiant declares the ritual finished: "It's done." Immediately after, the moment pivots when the man repeats a sudden, personal proposal, asking, "Marry me," and then addresses Qiana by name. The episode compresses that shift from public ceremony to a private demand for commitment. The scene ends with Qiana's reply withheld, leaving the proposal unresolved.
