Mr. Lewis discovers Qiana's keepsake ring is missing and, convinced it was stolen, publicly offers a reward. At home a child asks her mother how to get $400,000; when the child points out the ring on her mother's finger, the mother, aware the ring is cherished, says, "I have no choice." The household reels from the loss, then staff report a kid found the ring and is waiting outside the hospital. Mr. Lewis rushes there, but why the mother insisted she 'had no choice' about the ring remains unresolved.
