A relative blames 'that man's bad genes' for illness, and elsewhere a man denounces human females and vows never to take a human mate. In the pack, elders warn Alpha Eric his bloodline must produce an heir. Tension spikes when someone claims to smell a pup, shouting 'Stop!' The episode ends with a confirmed pregnancy and the pack suddenly pressing for an heir.

On the night of a full moon, Payne Manor invited Chef Lowe; he couldn't make it and sent his apprentice. A woman, Sylvia Snow, claims to be his apprentice and offers to cook. Alpha Eric — identified as Eric Payne, the richest man in Valia and owner of Payne Manor — rejects a human female in his kitchen. Sadie, who had sent Sylvia away earlier, apologizes and reports Sylvia refused to leave and caused trouble. Sadie feels an odd familiarity toward him. The confrontation escalates and ends unresolved, forcing Eric to decide whether she may stay.

During a job interview a woman frets she'll be judged for having a child out of wedlock, then clarifies it's a big dog and asks Mr. Payne to take food. Mr. Payne praises her cooking, offers a callback, and she hurries out—supposedly to a blind date. David and coworkers note Alpha Eric's possessiveness and whisper she might be the woman who once slept with him and vanished. Soon after, Noel bites someone severely; a bystander asks the child's mother and shouts, "Is this kid a werewolf? He almost bit my arm off!" — leaving a dangerous suspicion unresolved.

A young person shows up uninvited to a blind-date arranged by a relative who admits valuing money; they fight and the relative threatens to call the police. Later the young person panics that they're transforming and pleads with their mother, who vows to protect them. Meanwhile Alpha Eric's pack arrives at Ms. Snow's house on the full moon because Frost Water may not fully suppress transformations. They smell a pup and Alpha Eric, spotting the woman, says, "Let's see who's her blind date." The episode ends with Alpha Eric closing in while the youngster's fate stays unresolved.
