The Forensic Crown She Dropped - Épisode 8

During a live autopsy Sarah is publicly challenged when family members and her fiancé Hugh favor Mia, the self-styled 'Corpse Whisperer.' Tensions spike as Hugh announces traces of cyanide in the victim's stomach — a lethal amount — and calls that the real cause of death, undercutting Sarah's authority. The crowd denounces Sarah, calling her unfit and forcing her out. Shocked that Mia repeatedly matches her findings, even details she didn't record, Sarah makes a decisive turn: she resigns as medical examiner and requests desk duty so she can watch how Mia 'talks to the dead' once she's gone.
