At work, coworkers murmur that Mr. Zoller’s wife Madelyn was out all night. Mr. Zoller pauses the staff, gives what sounds like final instructions, and admits his memory is slipping, saying "dementia is the only way out." He decides to visit Madelyn one last time. At her house she accuses him of faking illness and manipulating her and Dwight; he replies he must care for Dwight, then abruptly excuses himself. Later someone notices Trenton’s clothes are missing and calls his name — Trenton has vanished, leaving the household reeling and questions unanswered.
