The Heart She Could Not Claim - Épisode 1

Eloise, a court-named princess, asks the monarch to let her go to Bellaros as part of a marriage alliance. The victorious crown prince Hayden returns and formally requests to wed Camila Lowe, the sister of his guard who died protecting Eloise. Courtiers argue Eloise's rank should outrank an orphan, but Hayden insists he promised the guard he would care for Camila. The king accepts both petitions: he grants Eloise the title Protector of the Realm and issues a decree—Eloise must marry in seven days, forcing her to prepare to leave.
