Blade of the Betrayed - Episode 4

Chase uses Shardbone to erase the soul of a Legendary Coreblade while Order members beg him to stop. They warn its destruction will doom them at the Thunder Trial in three years and call it the Order's last hope. Chase says he chooses himself, refuses to give the blade to Hunter, and brands the weapon unworthy. He erases the Coreblade; the Executioner is gone and the Order condemns him for wasting centuries of expectation. He counters, "I'll reach the eighth realm with any blade," then declares, "This is the Coreblade I choose," leaving the Order reeling and his choice unresolved.
