After Chase destroys the Legendary Coreblade and shatters his Blade Path, his father gives him Mother’s keepsake and passes on the Hidden Edge technique. Called an innate vessel, Chase vows to rely only on his mana and trains with the book, learning to nourish a blade from the heart rather than external cores. He swears to reach the fourth realm and directly challenges Hunter. After one hundred days the group demands proof; Chase has no blade soul to display, and when Hunter is summoned to reveal his aura, Chase's ability to replace a coreblade remains unresolved.
