Blade of the Betrayed - Episode 8

When Chase appears, a frustrated cultivator who's only just reached the second realm despite Samantha and Irina's help congratulates him for clearing the fourth. He notices Hunter's progress mirroring his own and realizes a mysterious draught may have let Hunter and even a broken Coreblade advance and siphon his Wyrmblade's aura. Angry, he vows to burn his blade's path and start over. The situation escalates when the Wyrmblade begins to self-immolate unexpectedly. Horrified, he orders it to stop: "Break now!" leaving the blade's fate and his power unresolved.
