Plots Beneath Silk Curtains - Episode 6

A woman storms into a household accusing Madam's daughter Lydia of stealing a Mystic Ginseng and demands she be handed over. Madam defends Lydia, cites the daughter's dangerous retrieval from Shadowless Mountain, and challenges the accuser's proof. The accuser orders guards to seize the girl and send her to the Justice Bureau, planning interrogation by force. The Third Prince arrives and checks Lydia's injury as onlookers whisper that she’s acting. Suddenly a different woman blurts, "I stole your ginseng. I admit my fault," prompting cries of "Who is that woman? Lydia?" The confession leaves Lydia’s fate and the guards’ decision unresolved.
