Quella returns and demands to enter through the main gate, insisting she's the one and only legitimate daughter and that she saved His Highness. Household members erupt: one calls her unworthy, another accuses this returning woman of planning to remarry and take his son, and a family member even threatens to kill Quinton. Despite objections, Mary is ordered to set an auspicious time as staff prepare to open the main gate to welcome Quella. The gate opens to admit Quella, but relatives have already vowed to take back what she lost and to deal with her once the gates close.
